Since the Sailor Scouts are really Japanese, I wondered what they would be like if they were Americans going to school in USA...How would they fit into cliques and American regional/ethnic cultures? How would they dress since there wouldnt be any uniforms? Would they have different cultures in USA? I also drew them in a more western/Disney style.
Sailor Moon- "The Immature Freshman"
Serena is kind of a lolli/punk since she always liked childish things. : )
Sailor Mars-The Cheerleader
I pictured Raye as a Japanese-American. Since Raye was always involved in extracurricular/leadership activities and very popular at her school in the Japanese version,I made her a cheerleader. It would also give her another reason not to like punk Serena. : )
Sailor Venus--The Drama Queen--
I picture Mina coming from California and being generally preppy and active in the school drama club.
Sailor Mercury- The Band Geek
I picture Amy as an African American and shed probably be a band geek or at least hang out with the band geeks. : )
Jupiter- The New Girl Lita is kind of the "bad girl" since she started fights in the Japanese version. She was also a smoker in her early, early version in Sailor V comics I think, though she had a different name. I picture Lita coming from the South and having a slight southern accent.
Sailor Saturn- The Goth
Sailor Saturn is pretty weird in the anime, so naturally I think she'd make a good goth! She seems to like dark clothes, ect.
Sailor Neptune- The Rich Girl
Coming from upper-east side, NYC, Michelle would be the rich girl people would see as a snob before they really got to know her.
Sailor Uranus- The Tomboy/Jock
I picture Amara as the sporty girl and somewhat of the class clown. Sailor Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto would be seniors while the other scouts would be freshmen.
Pluto- The Mysterious Foreign Exchange Student--
I picture Sailor Pluto as a foriegn exchange student from Italy who is very mysterious to the other scouts.
